USA and Solberg Manufacturing partnered to develop a vacuum solution that saved a meat processor millions of gallons of water, reducing operational costs and environmental impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This meat processing plant uses large tumblers\/meat massagers to add ingredients to specialty meats like turkey, chicken, and ham products. To help infuse the spices into the meat, they pull a liquid ring vacuum pump on the tumblers\/massagers. The use of this type of vacuum technology added&nbsp;additional operating costs because they had to pay for the clean water coming in, and then they had to treat the wastewater to ensure it was safe to discharge it back through the local sewer system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Becker Pumps developed a lubricated rotary vane pump with a filtration system that didn\u2019t require water to operate, saving the meat processor approximately 225 gallons of water per minute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Click on the button below to read more about how we engineered this vacuum solution that reduced our client\u2019s operational costs.
