When & How Often to Replace Your Vacuum Pump Filter
Your vacuum pump is built for reliable performance, but proper maintenance is key to keeping it running efficiently. One often overlooked component is the pump’s filters. Oil and air filters trap contaminants like dust, debris, and oil mist, preventing damage. Over time, clogged filters can reduce efficiency, cause overheating, and...
Best Types of Grease & Oil for a Vacuum Pump
Lubricants in vacuum pumps aren’t just an afterthought—they’re essential to keeping your equipment running efficiently. The right oil or grease minimizes friction, prevents wear, and protects against heat and contamination. Using the wrong one? That can lead to premature failure, costly downtime, and expensive repairs. This guide covers the best...
How to Replace the Vanes in Your Vacuum Pump
Rotor vanes sit at the heart of your vacuum pump’s operation, creating a seal against the pump chamber walls to trap and compress air to create suction. Constant contact with the walls causes vanes to wear over time, requiring periodic replacement. This makes vanes the most important consumable component of...
