A History of Innovation
Becker was founded in 1885 as “Maschinenfabrik Gebr. Becker” in Wuppertal-Barmen, Germany. In 1975, the International Becker Group launched its first subsidiary, Becker Pumps Corporation (BPC) in Akron, Ohio.
Today, the company is owned and managed by a fourth generation of the Becker family. Becker remains a leader in pump and compressor manufacturing for use in medical, manufacturing, and industrial applications, producing roughly 120,000 devices worldwide every year.
